"We've had five now in the family starting back in '89, then 96, 03, '08 and now a '12. They have all been good, dependable, safe and provided all the necessary room for our family. Would like to see Chevy incorporate the fold away third row seats like Ford but we keep coming back."

"This vehicle is not a compromise wherein you take a car frame, drop a station wagon body on it and call it an SUV. This is a big, roomy and quite comfortable vehicle. Ride is better than our Mercedes 300. Ground clearance is over 10", mileage is about 20 hwy (in the Sierras) and about 16 in town. If you want 40 mpg go get a micro car. If you need to tow, haul lots of people or gear, or actually go into areas of unpaved, rough roads and terrain. This is a reliable workhorse. It is a body on frame (truck) that does what it is intended to do, and does it very well. The 2014's are going to be a major redesign and be built down in Texas. Let's see what they come up with."

"The legendary Chevy Suburban is a good thing. Really it is what we ALL desperately need to move people and heavy stuff in the US. Unfortunately it has not changed a bit since 2006. It?s the same old same. Oh, it?s so BORING!! We really, really, liked it when it arrived for the first time in 2006. But after six long years, what it really needs TO SURVIVE is a great team of top designers that terrifically improve the lovable beast. It is all about intelligent, scientific ergonomics; just copy the Germans?we won?t tell. Start redesigning the passenger middle and rear seating so they effortlessly fold down, creating a cavernous cargo space. Just do it! And make sure the third row of seats accommodates an adult, like in the Mercedes GL450. Make new engines available, think out of the box. Clean diesel or Blue Tec Diesel engines, Supercharged Hybrids, Electric...Supercharged 5.7 Liter, etc. Give us options. Make the new 2015 a desirable thing in the world. Big is great. Big is power, but combined with style and precise performance. Come on, GM! Wake up and spend money on quality designers. Otherwise, KIA or Daewoo may get it someday. We want to buy Suburbans, Tahoes, Yukons and Escalades, but you are not giving us any more alternatives than to abandon GM and purchase other more expensive foreign brands SUV?s."

"I tow a 7000 pound trailer. This vehicle makes that effortless and safe. There is power to spare. The transmission is smooth; the engine never strains at this load. A/C and fan controls are poorly designed ergonomically, but work great. Seats are comfortable on long hauls and fully adjustable, including pedals; air conditioned seats is nice feature. Styling is clean; fit & finish excellent. Gas mileage ok for this class. Folding rear seats are bad idea. Detracts from cargo space. Have owned '98, '05 Burbs. This is worst designed for use of interior cargo space."

"Gas mileage is awful. It has no power. Rattles more than it doesnt. overall it is a piece of junk. My experience with this car has not been good at all."
